Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Aleem Labs Ltd. regarding your use of the Service.

• The Service may evolve over time, and we may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, designs, content, or AI interaction modes.
• Your use of the Service is also subject to related legal documents, including the Privacy Policy and any subscription or promotion-specific terms.
• The English version of these Terms is the authoritative version if a translation conflicts with it.
• You may not use the Service where such use is prohibited by the laws applicable to you.

2. Description of the Service

Oki is an AI-powered language-learning platform delivered primarily through our iOS app together with connected web and cloud services.

• Features may include adaptive lessons, reading and listening practice, grammar and writing feedback, speaking and pronunciation tools, AI chat, and spaced repetition review.
• AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for high-stakes uses such as legal, medical, or immigration decisions.
• Feature availability may vary by user, device, plan, region, or legal restrictions, and some capabilities may be offered as beta or experimental features on an as-is basis.
• We do not guarantee any specific educational outcome, exam result, fluency milestone, or continued availability of any individual feature.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, creating an account for, logging into, purchasing through, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms incorporated by reference.

• If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must not use the Service.
• Electronic acceptance has the same legal force as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• If you are under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the express permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Registration and Account Security

Most features require a registered account created with a valid email address or supported third-party authentication provider.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
• If you use Apple or Google authentication, those providers control their own login systems and policies, and Aleem Labs Ltd. is not responsible for outages or breaches on their side.
• We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security, abuse, or legal concerns.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

The Service may offer free and paid tiers, including auto-renewing subscriptions and in-app purchases.

• Where you subscribe through Apple, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are generally handled under Apple’s rules and store policies.
• Subscription prices, available plans, trial offers, and feature access may change over time and may differ by region.
• Unless you cancel before renewal, a subscription may renew automatically for the next billing period.
• Your remedy if you disagree with a paid plan change or feature removal is to stop using the Service and cancel before the next renewal where applicable.

6. Acceptable Use and User Content

You may not misuse the Service or submit content that violates law or the rights of others.

• Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, abuse APIs, scrape data, reverse engineer restricted parts of the product, or resell the Service except as allowed by law.
• Do not submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited content.
• You remain responsible for content you upload, submit, or generate through your use of the Service.
• To operate the Service, you grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, display, analyze, and transmit your user content in connection with the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, designs, AI workflows, branding, content, and related materials, is owned by Aleem Labs Ltd., its licensors, or affiliated rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation to the extent allowed by law.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated answers, corrections, or translations are accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for any particular use.
• The Service depends on third-party platforms such as Apple App Store, cloud infrastructure, and AI providers, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of those third-party systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aleem Labs Ltd. and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to the Service.

Where the law permits limitation, our aggregate liability for claims relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the relevant claim period.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The source Terms describe Delaware law and mandatory arbitration provisions, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction.

• Disputes may be subject to individual arbitration rather than court litigation where enforceable.
• The source Terms also include a class action waiver and identify Wilmington, Delaware as the court venue if a dispute proceeds in court instead of arbitration.
• If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, mandatory local consumer protections may override conflicting contractual provisions.

11. Final Provisions

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any incorporated additional terms, form the entire agreement between you and Aleem Labs Ltd. regarding the Service.

• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
• We may assign these Terms in connection with corporate transactions or reorganizations.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• You consent to receive electronic notices and communications relating to the Service.
• You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws.
